Wesley R. Williams, Esq. serves as Senior Commercial Counsel (Contract) for Johnsen Law. Based in San Diego, California, Wes brings over 30 years of industry expertise and 16+ years as a licensed attorney to the firm. He specializes in the high-stakes intersection of SaaS, digital commerce, and emerging technologies.

 

Prior to joining Johnsen Law, Wes served as Corporate Legal Counsel for Xsolla, a global B2B SaaS and digital commerce platform serving thousands of video game developers. In this role, he owned end-to-end commercial transactions and specialized in video game compliance, managing complex regulatory frameworks surrounding digital assets, virtual currencies, and global payments for publishers. His expertise extends deeply into Fintech and Blockchain, where he has developed regulatory strategies for cryptocurrency, stablecoin payments, and NFT integrations.

 

Wes is also a preeminent expert in the Real Estate and Title industries. His experience includes serving as In-House Claims and Coverage Counsel for Fidelity National Title, as well as representing multiple title insurance underwriters as outside coverage counsel. Furthermore, he has extensive experience navigating national title agency licensing and regulatory compliance matters. A licensed California Real Estate Broker, Wes is a recognized thought leader in Proptech, specifically regarding the tokenization of real estate and distributed ledger strategy.
