With a versatile approach to civil law, Melissa Watson’s hyper-focus on real estate transactions and business formations offers tangible solutions that positively impact the lives of her clients.

 

Her legal expertise spans from preparing company agreements and securing reparations for unfavorable business transactions, to preparing deeds, selling properties, resolving boundary issues, and even handling the distribution of probate estates. Her empathy and strong negotiating skills, paired with her additional experience in business law give her the skills necessary to correct personal injustices.

 

Prior to joining Johnsen Law, Melissa worked as an oil and gas title attorney in Texas and Colorado for many national oil companies, rendering drilling, division order, acquisition, and supplemental title opinions on fee, federal, and state lands. She began her career in oil and gas as a field landman and now works directly with those same landmen and brokers to keep projects on schedule.
